What To Expect At The Studio
What supplies do you provide for class? We supply everything you need for a class but the bubbly: a canvas, acrylic paint, brushes, etc. If we offer a special class, we will indicate if you need to bring additional supplies in the class description.
What should I wear? We provide knee-length aprons, but since paint can damage your clothing, we think it's best to wear something you wouldn't mind with an additional color or two.
What type of beverage can I bring to drink? We are a BYOB, so you can bring any type of beverage that you like, as long as you can verify your age. We also have complimentary coffee and water.
Will you have wine openers and cups? For your convenience, we do have wine and bottle openers as well as cups and glasses.
Can we bring food? Snacks are welcome, but the space is limited to the area around your canvas.
Company Policies
What is your cancellation policy? We ask you to give us 48 hours notice if you need to cancel. Cancellations should be made by phone or by emailing us at

.
This provides us the opportunity to fill the space. We will charge the class fee for reservations not cancelled 48 hours in advance.
What time do I need to arrive for a class? We open the doors 30 minutes before class. We recommend getting there at least 10 minutes early to get acclimated before the fun starts! Arriving late to class can disrupt the flow of instruction, and limits how much fun you'll have, so if you arrive after the start time we will ask you to reschedule.
What is the age requirement for class? Social Painting classes and Open Studio are for big kids only. So, children under 12 are asked to check out our Tipsy Kids classes if you have an aspiring artist in the family.
Do we have to tip the artist? Although it is by no means necessary, if you feel that you would like to tip one of our artists at Tipsy Paint, they greatly appreciate recognizing their hard work.
Scheduling
Do I need to sign up in advance? Yes. We have limited seating and want our artists to concentrate on what they do best. So, to make their life easier we make sure they know exactly how many people they’ll be leading ahead of time.
When does the new schedule come out? We post the schedule six weeks in advance. Join our email list to get a sneak peek of the monthly calendar via email a few days before the online posting.
I missed a painting that I really want to paint! How often will you repeat paintings? If you let us know, we will keep this in mind when scheduling the next month’s paintings!
What happens if the weather is bad on the night I am registered to paint? The studio will be open if classes are scheduled. We will contact everyone on the list via e-mail and/or phone you provide if we need to close the studio and we will post all closings on the home page of the website. If we close the studio due to inclement weather, you will not be charged for class.
